Data Scientist & Machine Learning Engineer

Senior Data Scientist and ML Engineer based in Hamburg, Germany. I got my Informatics Engineering degree (Computer Science) from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (Chile) and have worked across the full ML lifecycle, from exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring in different companies like Walmart Chile and as a independent consultant. These experiences have given me deeper knowledge of how to assess and insights into how to frame business problems, presentation and communication with different domain stakeholders and how to deliver projects that make a real impact in business processes.

What I Do

I specialize in building production-grade machine learning systems. My work spans predictive modeling (neural networks, boosting models, time series forecasting), multi-container ML pipelines, and end-to-end data solutions with Python, SQL, and multi-cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services.

I'm particularly interested in ML systems design and scalable pipelines, making models not just accurate, but reliable and maintainable in production.

Background

Originally from Chile, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by software engineering foundations and a deep curiosity for how systems, both technical and human, work. Since my early studies, I've drawn to study and work with AI systems, particulary Machine Learning and Metaheuristics. Outside of work, I'm interested in ML education design, community initiatives.
